No arguments there Ron! Do you advertise in any of the online pages stuff or adwords. What works best for you?

So far it looks like postcards and the yellowbook are the best ways to advertise. From my experience I'd have to disagree with this. Are we missing some other methods that should be added to a new poll?

We plan on going into more Yellow Pages maybe under Roof Cleaning Tampa catagory Henry.
But that Tampa Roof Cleaning section of our Yellow Pages here in Tampa is pretty darned expensive!

Do you advertise in the yellow pages online also?

I'm surprised that so many people are still doing phone books. From all the research I've seen fewer and fewer people are using them to find pressure washing companies.

Have you ever run an ad in one using a different phone number so you could track results? They have these plugs you can plug into a USB port giving you a new phone number for around $30 a year. That way you can easily track how many calls come in from a specific ad.

I think every area of the country is different. What works for some will not work for others.

What works best for you in your area Barry? In maryland it's a tough call now. Service Directories in newspapers used to work really well but they are losing a lot of advertisers so the directories are shrinking and losing their value. I don't think phone books are working very well for most contractors in the area either.
